Truth was a kind-hearted soul whose greatest desire was to help others. On a day that should have been filled with celebration and love, he was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence. While trying to assist a man bring his baby shower gifts upstairs since it was only him and his pregnnt wife who would have had to bring the gifts up themselves. CTruth’s life was unexpectedly stolen. The man went upstairs and came back down with a gun, as CTruth turned around to walk away, the man shot him in his back.

What makes this loss even more heartbreaking is that the man he was trying to help took the opportunity to kill him, seeking to prove something to a gang. CTruth’s act of kindness was met with violence, a cruel reminder of the dangers that too many face in our communities.

Despite this tragic ending, we remember CTruth for the kindness, compassion, and selflessness he showed every day. His legacy is one of love and generosity, and his memory will inspire us to create a safer, more caring world.
